Power check

Power light is not shining on gateway's front panel.

Checklist

  1. The power cable is connected
  2. The power supply adapter is plugged in a working power socket.
  3. The 12V power supply adapter provides at least 1A (2A recommended).
  4. PoE Switch or PoE Injector is running if local power supply adapter is not used. (2N VoiceBlue Next only)
  5. Contact distributor for RMA (general hardware fault)

Power light is blinking on gateway's front panel

Checklist

  1. Try different power supply adapter (12V/2A, DC 2.1mm plug)
  2. Try different PoE port if local power supply adapter is not used. (2N VoiceBlue Next only)
  3. Contact distributor for RMA (general hardware fault)

Power light is stable

Checklist

  1. Continue to next sections

Network check

Ethernet port lights are off or only one light is active (one should shine (link), other should blink(activity))

Checklist

  1. Ethernet cable connection to gateway
  2. Ethernet cable connection to switch (10/100 BaseT)
  3. Different cable
  4. Different switch port
  5. Different switch
  6. Different device on same cable/port/switch
  7. Check if switch port is reporting activity (only ethernet port lights are faulty)
  8. Contact distributor for RMA (ethernet port fault)

Connection check

Checklist

  1. Your computer is connected to same network as gateway
  2. Your computer can reach other devices or web sites
  3. Download and run 2N Gateway Scanner. If the gateway is found then write IP address to your web browser.
  4. If no result, disable other netwrok interface (keep LAN or Wi-Fi only) and scan again
  5. Connect gateway directly to your computer
  6. Set your computer IP Address to 192.168.1.10
  7. Make a factory reset of gateway (2N BRI gateways, 2N VoiceBlue Next, 2N VoiceBlue MAX, 2N BlueTower, 2N StarGate)
  8. Open your web browser and try to access default IP 192.168.1.2
  9. Try diferent computer and web browser.
  10. Contact distributor for RMA (fault gateway not accessible)

Login is not working

Checklist

  1. Check status of capslock and numlock on your keyboard. Check keyboard layout language in your operating system.
  2. Try different web browser.
  3. Try different computer.
  4.  Make a factory reset and try default login Admin/2n
