Characters * and # are used for services if you use 2N® NetStar. But in SIP # is mostly used for dialing confirmation and it is not sent from the IP phone. Therefore the service does not work.

There are 2 ways how to solve it:

  1. In router SERVICES change all # for any other character (be careful with your internal numbering plan)
  2. Set up the Dial plan on your Linksys in menu Extension. (#xx|*xx|*#|#*[3469]11|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxx|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.)
