How work SMS queues in Messaging control

  • In firmware 1.16.2.19.3 has been developed SMS control feature, available in Messaging -> Control. In SMS control you will find AutoCLIP records for SMS´s and information about incoming and outgoing SMS queues. This FAQ is explaining how particular queue works.

Incoming SMS count

W / X / Y / Z

  • W - Recieved - Count of recieved SMS messages
  • X - Ack OK -  Count of recieved reciepts with status OK (recieved)
  • Y - Ack error -  Count of recieved reciepts with status FAIL (SMS wasnt recieved)
  • Z - Failed - Count of incoming messages which indicates error during sending (incorrect number, network error)

Outgoing SMS count

A / B / C

  • A - Waiting - Count of SMS waiting to be sent
  • B - Sending - Count of SMS currently processed to send
  • C - Sent - Count of sent SMS waiting for reciept (deliver confirmation)

 

Example of outgoing message with reciept

  • 0/0/0/0 + 0/0/0 - no SMS
  • 0/0/0/0 + 1/0/0 - SMS is wating to be sent
  • 0/0/0/0 + 0/1/0 - SMS has been sent, waiting for reciept
  • final state:
    1. 0/1/0/0 + 0/0/1 - SMS sent, reciept recieved - delivered
    2. 0/0/1/0 + 0/0/1 - SMS sent, reciept recieved - not delivered
    3. 0/0/0/1 + 0/0/1 - SMS sending failed, error during sending (incorrect number, network error)
